This is a tutorial on how to create and edit pages on this wiki. Try it out! If you'd like to improve on it, go ahead! ;-)

Since this is a wiki there are no real rules engraved in stone. Do whatever you like that helps grow this space. Reorganize and link to your heart's content. Nonetheless, there are a few things that will make using the BPRIME Wiki easy and fun for everyone.

  • The navigation table. When you add a new entry make sure you begin by clicking on "Edit this Page" near the top left corner of the home page and entering a title into the table. That may mean you need to add a new row or rows. Go right ahead. If you've got a better idea for how we can organize navigation from the main page to the teaching strategies go ahead and implement it. This is a wiki .... everybody's sandbox. ;-)

  • Take credit for your contributions. Even if you originally got the idea from someone else you can write that into your description, but you DID take the time and energy to share it here. That's a credit to YOU. I would also encourage you to share your email address as a link in your contribution credit. That makes it easier for educators all over the globe to talk pedagogy and learn from you.

  • "But I don't know the first thing about making web pages let alone wiki pages!" That's ok. You don't need to know very much at all about the technical stuff. Once you click on "Edit this Page" the editing page will open and at the bottom there's a link called: Help on the XWiki Syntax. Click it. Everything you need to know, which is very little, is right there. And don't worry about "making a mistake" or "messing anything up." The wiki automatically saves ALL previous versions of itself. Cleaning any mess is as simple as "copy" and "paste." And, again, since this is a wiki, even if you don't know how to clean up any little mess you make make, don't worry .... someone else will do it. After all, we're all in this together. ;-)

Have Fun! And thanks for contributing.....
