This game best works initially with 2 students.
  1. Take a regular deck of cards and remove all face cards and jokers. Keep the ace to ten cards.
2. The black cards represent positive integers. eg. black ace equals +1, black four equals +4, etc.

3. The red cards represent negative integers; eg. red ace equals -1, red nine equals -9, etc.

4. Shuffle cards and deal cards face down to each player; for two students, each player receives a deck of 22 cards.

5. Players simultaneously flip a card face up from their deck of cards and the first player to correctly answer the sum of the two cards wins.

6. The objective of the game is to win all the cards.

7. The number of cards the students play with is variable. Weaker students can use the ace to five cards for example.
